As the famous Michelin Guide star ceremony approaches, scheduled for the end of the month, this Guide keeps us waiting by revealing the list of 77 Bib Gourmand restaurants for 2025.

These establishments, located all across the country, are part of the Michelin Guide’s France selection for their excellent value for money.

 

The Bib Gourmand, an iconic award

Originally created in 1997, this distinction was initially announced alongside the Michelin stars. However, in recent years, the Bib Gourmand list has been published in advance. This recognition aims to reward restaurants offering exceptional value for money. Each year, the Michelin Guide selects new addresses across France and highlights establishments with a common trait: their ability to offer authentic, accessible cuisine rooted in local flavors.

The Michelin Guide highlights accessible cuisine

Through this list, Gwendal Poullennec, the international director of the Michelin Guide, wanted to praise the establishments that manage to offer quality cuisine despite the current challenges. Indeed, restaurants awarded the Bib Gourmand have an average bill of around 40 euros in the regions for a full meal (excluding drinks).

New Aquitaine stands out this year with 13 rewarded restaurants. It’s a point of pride for Madame B to be part of one of the most recognized regions in France!
